As a three time former stage mom, I know the difficulties faced by managing mom's and child talents. I have worked in the field of personal management for children for more than thirty years. Moms and children face unusual problems and uncertainties. The questions I was faced with in my life have given me extraordinary insight into successfully guiding a child on a healthy and satisfying career path.

Show business can be a wonderful and rewarding experience for children. It can broaden their minds and develop their self confidence. But, it can also be a tragic lifestyle if not kept in the proper perspective. The first thing to remember is parent and child should be enjoying themselves. I have seen many mothers lead their children to acting and modeling without considering the feelings of the child. In order for this to be a growing experience for your child, take the time to find out his or her feelings.

Life behind the cameras is not a substitute for the priorities best taught at home. Principals and priorities can only be instilled in your child by you at home. Mom's and Dad's presence should be a continuing source of support.
