My husband Pete and I traveled slowly west via transfers with his company. We have three children, Eileen, Karen and David. Two grandkids, Ryan 10 and Jessica 6. Our final move was to California. Pete retired in 1990 and I left my job in 1995. We sold our home and bought a fifth wheel RV and traveled, which was our dream. Sadly I lost Pete in January 2002. I'm still living in my RV at our home base in Aguanga, Ca., about 60 miles east of San Diego, a very beautiful area. We do a lot of hiking here. I hope to continue my travels, but this time by auto. I never did master the art of pulling and parking a 35 foot 5th wheel. This summer I hope to drive to Denver to visit Karen and then on to Montana to visit Eileen and where I look forward to doing some great hikes. Our son David is the only one in California, he's in Venice Beach. mpralicke@earthlink.net

Out of school, I went to work for Paramount Pictures Corporation, Production-Legal Deparment, starting as a stenographer and leaving as a legal secretary. Married Louis Robert in l955, have three children, nine grandchildren and even a great grandson, although through a step-grandson. We lived in Astoria until 1962 and have lived here in North Bellmore since. We've just sold a place in the Poconos and for the past 4 years have been wintering in Florida, Vero Beach, or actually North Hutchinson Island. Because of the difficulty travelling to the City, I remained on the Island workwise and was employed in a pharmacy in North Massapequa for 28 years. Since then I worked with my daughter in her travel agency. Currently, Lou and I are twice as busy as ever with volunteer work, religious and fraternal.
